Recruiting for the Board of Trustees

Would you like to use your skills and expertise to make a difference?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate board of trustees who are committed to the cause and want to help change peoples’ lives for the better.

Our main aim is to improve the lives of patients, parents and care givers of those affected by a PTEN genetic alteration. This rare genetic condition increases the risk of cancers and can cause autism and learning disabilities in children.

This position would fit anyone that has the ability to question and steer, that is motivated and willing to learn and is willing to commit to a voluntary position for approx. 4hrs every 3 months.

Full training will be given but we are particularly interested in anyone that has experience working in charities, education, the NHS, with disabilities, patient advocacy and grant funding.
